Responsibility and attribution
Grey is responsible for the RustSeek website. A RustSeek publisher label identifies the website publishing a page; it does not imply that a named expert personally tested every game server. Operator descriptions are third-party material, not independent reviews.
Automation and evidence
Server records, history summaries, wipe estimates and some analysis are produced automatically. Automatically generated summaries may contain errors. Labels such as competition or a good time to join are interpretations of available data, not a guarantee of an experience.
We do not invent authors, gameplay hours, certifications, reviews or authority endorsements. A guide claiming first-hand testing should identify who tested it, what was tested, the game context and supporting evidence. Where this evidence is absent, the page should be presented as a reference or estimate.
Dates, sources and rankings
A record’s last-seen time, a data-fetch time and an article revision date describe different events. We do not treat fetching a page as reviewing all of its content. Population order is not a rating. A displayed server-network link does not imply a commercial partnership or endorsement.
Source references should support the claim they accompany. Core sources and calculation limits are described on the methodology page. We avoid unsupported “best”, safe, low-ping or anti-cheat guarantees.
Corrections
Use Contact & corrections with the page URL, the disputed field and evidence. Grey can compare the report with source records, correct curated information or adjust a rule that produced an incorrect inference. We do not publish a reporter’s private details as evidence.
We may restrict indexing of empty or unreviewed categories instead of filling them with unsupported claims. A server with few players is not automatically a bad server. Content should change because information or functionality changes, not just to refresh a date.
